Waymarker Training

I currently run one-day courses in Podcasting and WordPress. I’ve trained hundreds of people over the last 10 years, both in-person and via Zoom, and can help you to get up and running with your project fast. All my courses feature a practical exercise – you will make a podcast or website as part of your day with me – and I’ll be on hand to provide one-to-one support and answer your specific questions throughout.

As an audio professional, I’ve recorded and mixed broadcast/podcast sound for clients including BBC, NPR, PRX, National Galleries, National Theatre and many more. I actively work on several podcasts every month, working from my own studio, and keep up with technology developments in the industry. I can advise on what equipment you need – and what you don’t.

As a journalist and web developer, I’ve worked on websites for The Guardian, Scotsman, Sunday Herald, The List, National Galleries and with many other smaller clients – plus on my own projects. I think WordPress is fantastic, and I can help you understand this powerful and intuitive tool and get you underway in creating and updating your own website for your business, practice or project.
